A good photograph or piece of video footage is one that:

Tells a story
Expresses the beauty of that which is being photographed
Is an expression of the photographer’s art

Achieving these outcomes is the goal of my photography. Catching the moment in a photograph or video aims to catch a reality and a clarity of that moment.

While the tools are important the result is what counts. It is how you feel about what you see.

Having recently completed a video assignment which encouraged using of all my video recording equipment which includes an Atamos Ninja 5+. This enables Canon R5 to record 8K Pro-Res raw. **My Story**

I have been involved with photography for many years. At 12 I had my first Kodak instamatic camera. This camera had the ability to vary shutter speed, so I learned to play with light. Light has fascinated me ever since, and capturing that light in relation to an image, whether it was on film, or now digitally is an absolute passion and a joy.
I have progressed over the years from an Olympus half frame film camera to a Canon 5d Mk III and more recently to the Canon R5. These two superb cameras have enabled me to catch some breath-taking landscapes and some great portraits. I enjoy the challenge of difficult lighting and crafting the image to enable the best possible picture. Behind-the-scenes is a full Adobe suite of products which enables me to enhance, crop and manage a variety of images to meet individual requirements and circumstances. Using the very good equipment that I have I am able to provide videographer services.
Working with Locorum Photography you will find that understanding of your needs and delivering those needs, is a key to my business.
Religious Art and Scriptural depictions have also been part of my photographic endeavor. I have produced a number of Photo Books themed around Faith, Hope and Love. I find God’s Majesty expressed in the beauty He created.
